I’m a business and accounting professional who genuinely enjoys helping organizations make sense of the financial and operational details that can sometimes feel overwhelming.

I work with nonprofit organizations and small businesses, providing accounting support and consulting based on what each organization needs. That can mean anything from monthly reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and reporting to cleaning up historical data, helping with system migrations, managing vendors, or tackling a special project.

​

My favorite part of my work is being able to support organizations, so they don’t have to worry about their financial needs. Just as important is crafting various solutions custom to each organization – I love having the opportunity to learn about an organization’s challenges, identify areas for development, and work with the team to create solutions that improve the process while still supporting their goals.

It is worth noting that my career didn’t start in nonprofit and small business accounting. I spent more than a decade in the Investments department of a large insurance provider, where I had the opportunity to work across Accounting, Investments, Asset Management, IT, and Actuarial teams. Over the years, I moved into business analysis, project management, and systems leadership, working on everything from data and reporting to large-scale system implementations and process improvements.

That experience has shaped the way I approach my clients today. I’m naturally curious and tend to look beyond the immediate problem to understand why something is happening and whether there’s a better way to do it. I like digging into the details, connecting the dots, improving processes, and finding practical solutions that actually work. I strive to bring that blend of business, technology, financial, and project management experience to every engagement with every organization.

Above all the projects, processes and solutions, I value relationships. I believe good financial support isn’t just about getting the numbers right – it’s about becoming part of the team and being someone an organization can rely on, communicate openly with, and trust to help work through challenges.

I am beyond grateful that my path has brought me the opportunity to work with nonprofits and small businesses. I know that most nonprofit leaders and teams, and small business owners, have a lot on their plates, and financial management is just one piece of a much bigger mission. My goal is to take some of that burden off their shoulders, provide greater clarity around their finances, and help create the systems and processes that allow them to focus more of their time and energy on the work they care about most.
